During its periodic meeting at the Family Guidance and Counseling Center in Béja, the regional coordination for combating violence against women, composed of representatives from five ministries, addressed several issues relating to the protocol of the Ministry of Social Affairs for the care of victims of violence, as well as the collection of data and statistics for the preparation of reports.
According to the correspondent of Tunisie Numérique, the objective of this work is to formulate proposals to be submitted to the Ministry of Women in order to combat this growing phenomenon.
Nessma Ben Romdhane, responsible for managing the delegation of Women and the Family of Béja, pointed out, on this occasion, the increase in cases of violence against women, particularly within couples.
