The company announced its intent to take legal action against those responsible for these defamatory allegations.
The company explained that the claims, which suggest potential risks to airport user safety, are entirely baseless and illegal. TAV Tunisia stressed that all airport operations are conducted in strict compliance with national and international standards established by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
TAV Tunisia reaffirmed its commitment to passenger safety, which remains its highest priority. The company actively works to maintain and enhance safety measures across all levels of management, ensuring adherence to stringent protocols.
In recent years, TAV Tunisia has undertaken notable investments to improve the airport’s facilities and services. These include streamlining passenger processes, upgrading security measures, renovating restrooms and passenger areas, and enhancing overall infrastructure to meet the growing demands of the global tourism market.
The company is furthermore preparing to manage increased air traffic, improve equipment, and develop additional infrastructure, such as parking and public transport services, to provide a seamless experience for travellers.
Efforts are underway to expand the airport’s connectivity by introducing new routes to destinations worldwide.
