Kairouan: Death of 27 year old biker in road accident​

The rescue and intervention teams from the Kairouan Civil Protection Regional Directorate were mobilized after a road accident in the Bir Dawla area, within the delegation of Sidi Omar Bouhajla.

The accident implicated a collision between a car and a motorcycle, resulting in the death of a 27-year-old man.

According to the Civil Protection spokesperson, three other people sustained injuries of varying severity.

The body was examined and handed over to the National Guard units, while the injured were provided first aid and transported to a local hospital for treatment.

A medical source from the surgery department of the Aghlabides hospital told the press that a serious road accident that occurred this afternoon on national road No. 3 between Chebika and Hajib El-Ayoun left 6 dead and 3 others injured who were subjected to intensive care.

The image of the accident consisted of a collision between a light truck and a rental taxi coming from Hajb El-Ayoun.

The accident initially left three dead on the spot, and six injured, including the truck driver, who was in serious condition.
