Please take heed, if your Tunisian husband or boyfriend ask for money to buy land or to build a house, consult a lawyer first. They usually buy land and build houses in their own names. You are the one who will have contributed and will have no legal right. Think first and use your head because when love goes sour, as it eventually does with these men, make sure only your head is hurt and not your pocket. It has taken six years of court appearances in Tunisia to try and get my houses back, and I have only been awarded half. He is still fighting for me not to get half and has signed the deeds over into the name of his third wife. big mistake, because this is fraud and I will get him now.

After the Tunisian court awarded me half of my properties in Sousse, this scum has put a third wife into the property and last January changed it to her name. Went to Tunisia, made a statement to the Police and had him arrested in December. While he was in jail his wife and mother went to a lawyer and quickly changed the houses into his name. This man is already on a 3 year suspended prison sentence, so hopefully this time the Tunisian court will give him a proper prison sentence. He has rented my houses, and has prevented me from living there since 2006. He will have to pay now for his crimes. Soon I will seize he house and move on. I will also change my name as I don't ever want to be reminded of his evil deed.
